I was out of state for five days and in that period of time we watched several movies!

Mystic River................which I loved and so intense

I just saw that too. I love Sean Penn in that movie. It was worth watching, if you like that murder mystery sort. It kept me guessing all the way until the end. thumbs_up.gif thumbs_up.gif

I watched Mystic River last night, but I wasn't real impressed. I'm glad I didn't pay to see it in the theatres.

Watched Indiana Jones and Raiders of the Lost Ark today

You didn't like Mystic River, Brian? Hmmm...........wonder if my hubby will like it then. He is really funny about movies. rolleyes.gif

I watched the rest of my Selkie movie today called, The Seventh Stream. It was okay. Not as good as The Secret of Roan Inish, but for those of you who are interested in Selkie legends, it is a good introduction.

The funny thing is, I'm not sure I can explain why. I guess it just didn't live up to my expectations.

I watched Pieces of April last night. It was really good. I must admit, that had I seen the previews prior to renting it, I would not have had the desire to watch it.

HERE is a synopsis of the movie.

It stars Katie Holmes of Dawson's Creek, Patricia Clarkson & Oliver Platt.

I finally went and saw "The Bourne Supremacy" today. It was okay. The first one, "The Bourne Identity", was better.

Can't even remeber the last movie I saw in the theatre......oh, wat........Shrek II. I love being able to get away with stuff like that and blaming it on my kids!

I watched last night "Under the Tuscan Sun." It is a real chick flick, but sis insisted I see this movie so much that she bought the DVD for me! biggrin.gif Anyway, after two months of sitting on my coffee table, me and hubby finally watch it and it was so very good. I absolutely loved it! It was a really wonderful movie and so much to think about and so inspirational! Made me want to go do something crazy and free! The scenery and characters are awesome and I highly recommend this movie!

You know, I didn't think of that as too much of a "chic flick". I would recommend it to anyone. It was just a good movie.....something rare these days.

I saw "The Village" this week-end. Very good film about the fear and the way to manipulate people with it so the atmosphere is a bit heavy, but I liked it ! smile.gif

REally? You wouldn't think it was a "chick flick?" well I am quoting my hubby because he said it was a typical chick flick! I just thought it was such a wonderful movie with a happy ending and I love movies like that. I found the whole movie so inspirational!

Last night we watched "Platoon" with Charlie Sheen for the 29th time. As said and painful as that movie is, it is a very good movie and one that hubby and I watch everytime it comes on the telly!

Saw Alien vs. Predator on Saturday night. Not as bad as I thought - something of a story. The Predator armor was awesome and the sets were really good. smile.gif Could have been a real loser but it was entertaining in a light sort of way - not truly scary like the first Alien movie which still makes me curl up in a ball on the bed so that no limbs are hanging over the sides. tongue.gif
