Just a quick note that we have experienced a number of issues today with Hurricane Irene from electricity to intermittent internet access.

As of tonight 8/28 - the intermittent internet connection is better, but we are still experiencing problems with our live stream. We ran some tests and some of the upstream data centers appear to be offline in New York and perhaps Boston too.

You may or may not be able to connect to our site and our Highlander Radio Live Stream may be buffering and sound choppy. Try listening to our Live365 channel feeds until the NorthEast has recovered from this Hurricane!

It appears that I can not access the forum but can post here. Apparently there are still issues. Storm Gale is working fine though

As of Thursday Night September 1st, 2011 we have resolved all known issues with the site.

It was a wild ride here in the Northeast on Sunday with the Hurricane. Lots of power outages, floods, trees down and high winds.

Our ISP was down on Sunday into Monday. Most of the issues were the result of work being performed on all of hte power lines which then caused alot of intermittent connection errors.

No more Hurricanes now! smile.gif

Ok, we spoke too soon!

Celtic Radio is going to be up and down this week. In fact, it has been up and down for the past week. We have some major issues with our Internet Service Provider and verizon probably caused by the Hurricane that blew through here last week. Verizon is dispatching a crew to figure out the problem, so hopefully this will be resolved this week. Our apologies!
