| The Gathering is a meeting of kilted men in Vancouver in the first 2 weeks of August, 2005. There will be organised tours around Vancouver, Gala Dinner with fashion show and charity Auction, a mini highland game, fireworks, pub crawls and the world famous Vancouver Kilts Night. Guys are flying in from all around the world to attend this gathering. If you are planning on attending, please email Bear, [email protected], as to where you are from and how many are coming. He will add to the web page a list of where people are coming from. We are working on getting a better than average rate on accomodations. Contact Raphael, [email protected], for more details. Vancouver is a very kilt friend city and people rarely refer kilts as skirts. Even the Mayor of Vancouver, Larry Campbell, wears his kilts from time to time. | The event is getting a lot closer. Just to bump it up for any of you that may be interested. The Gathering is a meeting of kilted men in Vancouver, B.C. in the first two weeks of August, 2005. There will be dinners, tours, a fashion show, a mini highland games, fireworks, several pub visits, and one kickass Kilts Night! Guys are flying in from as far away as England, possibly further. If you're planning on attending, please e-mail me as to where you're from and how many are coming. I'm going to add to The Gathering page a list of where people are coming from. We are working on getting some deals on accomodations. Contact Raphael for details. It's early in the planning stages, so don't expect too many details. Vancouver may never recover! There will be updates to the page as we get more info as to venues, exact times of events, etc. I believe Vancouver is the most Kilt friendly city in the world. Even our Mayor wears a kilt! We're hoping to see all of you in Vancouver this coming summer. The Gathering will be talked about for years to come |
