Hello again everyone! I've not been here in what seems like years, but I hope this "hello" finds you all in good health and love.
I've been busy with work, school, may daughters surgerys, and just life! That, and it's cold here! I'm not a big fan of snow...
hopefully I'll be around more...but not less.

Thank you for your continued prayers and support. I have not been here in what feels like FOREVER!
A surgery date is set for my daughter Tori. Surgery (#1 of 3) will be July 27th! I can't belive after all this time, the time for the surgery is so near. My husband and I are scared to death, but, I know this is what she needs!
So, as before, Keep us in your prayers! and I will continue to keep you all posted!
Blessings,
Becky |

I have not posted in a long time, i'm getting ready to have my nails done, but I wanted to "catch" up on here.
So, I'll be getting dressed now, and then off to school once my nails are finished!
Sounds real fun, huh? |

UPDATE: Thank you for all your pryers concerning my daughter Tori.
We met with the surgeon, and she is confident that she will be able to do my daughter's surgeries! We are so excited. She has to have some cat scans, but that can be done here in town. So, the surgeries will be in Madison, we will be able to follow up with her in her office in Appleton, and tests can be done here locally in Green Bay.
The surgeries will be in 3 steps. they will have to remove some cartilage from her ribs, shape it, and fixate it to her head ( in the vicinity of where the ear will be), then the the second surgery they will make the contours right, make sure it's even with the other, and that blood flow is right (etc), and the third step will be the "tweaking" stage.
It's more in debth than I can explain, not using big medical terms and things of the like.
This is a big step for all of us. and I will continue to keep all of you who are interested posted. God Bless you all!

QUOTE (MDF3530 @ 19-Mar-2005, 06:23 PM) | My favorite Celtic-themed movies (I'm just putting these down in the order I thought of them ) :
1. "The Nephew" 2. "The Magdalene Sisters" 3. "Braveheart" 4. "The Quiet Man" 5. "Rob Roy"
BTW, "The Magdalene Sisters" is the only time I've ever been to an arthouse. My mom and I wanted to see it, and the local arts center had a screening. |
I like all these too, especially Braveheart, and Rob Roy, excellent! |
