Sorry, but you're wrong, bud. Yes, Spike was The Big Bad, for a while. You'll notice that in the last few seasons every lead villain on the series was being reffered to as the Big Bad by the Scooby gang. So I came to the conclusion that Grungahn is the Big Bad, and all of those characters working for him are Ubervamps...I mean baddies.

you know you just may be right Grungahn may well be a bigger bad that spike, and there have been meny " big bads " as cioned by the gang but they just aren't Spike... He was after all the first and self proclaimed " big bad"
I guess I'm a little byiss but the episode that showed spike before his vamp days was just the best... A poet and a " bloody awful " one at that being a vamp is the best thing for that poor guy.
