| On Sunday, October 15, 2006, The Irish Cultural Center located at 1106 North Central Avenue, Phoenix, AZ 85004 will be presenting a Set Dancing Workshop and SeanNos performance by RONAN REGAN AND MALDON MEEHAN. Start time is 7:00 pm and Admission is $15.00. Both founder and director of Meehan Productions, a organization which promotes traditional music and dance, Maldon has over 11 years experience bringing Irish music and dance to the public through performance, education and promoting concerts. As an instructor for Irish dance, including Set, Sean-nós and Céilí dance she has offered workshops throughout the U.S, and . Maldon has performed at festivals and concerts, including appearances at the Irish World Music Center in Limerick, , the Celtic Festival in Portland, Oregon, and Northwest Folklife Festival in Seattle, Washington . Through Maldon's performances and promoting she has collaborated with internationally renown artist including Kevin Burke, Jackie Daly and Johnny B. Connolly. More information at www.azirish.org |
