I've only found a few whole shells and the broken pieces have become harder to find lately. Wow Dogshirt. That is a beautiful stone!!! I was speaking of shells so I assumed you were too, but this agate is a precious stone. One website I found commented this.... First discovered by the Kittitas Indians who inhabited the area, and in 1913 offered this advice on finding the agates, one should �Walk with the sun over your left shoulder.� Have you had much luck in finding this stone?

When I find them I put them in a tobbaco humidor I have and save them. They are getting harder to find as the land gets sold off and closed to the public. My dream is to get enough to have a plaid brooch made with 5 matching stones, but I don't have them all yet.
