I just posted the results of the 1st Annual Celtic Music Awards of 2005. Now I'm interested in getting some feedback for the 2006 awards.
Last year, I just had one category--Favorite Band. This skewed the results a wee bit towards Celtic rock which is great for them, but it lacks variety in the overall results. So next year, I want more categories.
Do you have a suggestion for a category that should be included?

You have a good point Mark. There is so much great music out there for people to hear, but you wonder if the people that like the Celtic Rock are perhaps - say a little more vocal than the once that like the Soft Celtic new age type music?
I agree, if there was a way to recognize both would be a great idea! We will be thinking about the same for the Celtic Radio Song of the Year 2006.
By the way, love that Cat album! Did you see we have it listed as one of our featured albums? We will do a frontpage feature on it soon!
