Along with listening to Highlander Radio, I have listened to the Thistle and Shamrock on public radio the past ten years or so. Unfortunately, due to budget issues, the local NPR station has cancelled T&R.
This makes me really sad, like losing a friend.
Luckily, a locally produced celtic music show continues, "Toss the Feathers".

You could try listening to T&S online on one of the NPR stations that broadcasts online. Our local NPR station is WUNC, which runs T&S on Saturday evenings, according to the current schedule. WUNC does stream on the internet. I have had problems with dropouts in their MP3 feed, but their Real Player stream is great.

NPR has a Where to Hear finder at Where to Hear T&S, which gives all of the stations that carries T&S by state. It looks like most the Ohio University stations still carries it, unless the site isn't up to date.
