I went last year and had a great time. Lots of entertainment and variety for all. Really enjoyed watching the Gaelic Football matches !

"We kick off this years Festival on May 31st with a 5k and Family Sports Day. Sign up for our 5k race at http://www.lightboxreg.com/crossroads-irish-5k . Post race we have a Guinness reception and live music by Dan Hallissey and The Green Rovers. We will have something for the whole family on May 31st ! We are excited for the first time to have the Flying High Frisbee dogs perform at 12pm and 3pm. ISYL and Boston Irish Wolfhounds will host children’s hurling, football and rugby clinics. Get a team together and enter our Tug of War. Face painting, tattoos, bouncy castles, arts and crafts, you name it – we have it !"
June 6th – Black 47 will play the Boston Irish Festival for the last time on their Farewell Tour . Come and give this great band a warm Irish send off . Together with Screaming Orphans this is going to be a night to remember!
June 7th – We are delighted to have Eileen Ivers return to the Boston Irish Festival. A full day of music is in store for all tastes on two stages !
June 14th – The Liam Harney School of Irish Dancing Feis returns to the Irish Cultural Centre .
I've been to this the past couple of years and it's a great time. They also usually have a full day schedule of Gaelic Football and Hurling going on one of the days. Awesome sports to watch. Check the website for the schedule.

I go every year and it's a great fun time. The music always features top notch musicians, the hurling and football games are very entertaining, the food spot on, the energy and atmosphere is why you go. All in all this festival is a great representation of Irish culture.
