Schedule/queue Errors?

It's tuesday, just after 7pm EDT, and the broadcast schedule says that I'm supposed to be hearing "Featured Music: Another Round", and I just heard the announcement for featured musc, but the "Coming Up" page and the actual music being played (which, at least, agree with each other) are definitely NOT Barleyjuice.

Anybody know what's going on?

not really sure what your seeing as a problem. The featured music sections have been obliterated by the new rules and regulations of internet radio broadcasts though in the past year or so. It's now a mixture of what Macfive has listed as his "featured music" list not quite certain was throwing you off though. Even though an album/artist is listed as "featured" in the schedule it does not mean that is what will exclusively be played any more...which IMHO bites...but not much we can do about it except listen and be grateful Macfive and his crew keeps broadcasting such great music.

Okay, I didn't know about the new rules. I only listen to CelticRadio occasionally.

So how do things like the featured music and the other items on the broadcast schedule work now?

Featured Artist/Album is now a mixture of those Artists and Albums on the "featured" lists that keeps growing and growing....it is songs from those particular lists that will be played at that time in the broadcast schedule.

Two for Tuesday is a new part of the schedule and for that block there are 2 songs from an artist played back to back (sometimes they are from the same album but not 100% of the time). I'm still getting used to the addition of that in the schedule myself.

Celtic Gold/Pub Requests/New Music/Top Ten List pretty much work much the same way as they always have. Same goes for Bagpipes Hour and Jig/Reels hour. No real changes there.

The only noticible change to most listeners was the Featured Artist/Featured Album programming. You get used to it after a while. *shrug*

Yes, I know the broadcast schedule shows an album cover so I can perfectly understand that you were expecting to hear that music.

As Senara as so kindly explained (thankyou Senara!!!), regulations prevent has from streaming entire albums at one time. We have notices on this on the broadcast page and such; however, we still wanted to give those artists the spotlight in some way - so we left the album cover on the broadcast schedule page to give a little more exposure,

We can play 2 songs from any one album in a row, but then we have to wait a certain number of minutes before we play another song from the same album. It is the work of the RIAA that we need to do this.
