Some friends have contacted me and they are going to host the first highland games in our area sometime in April. I have never been able to attend any games as there are not alot in this part of Idaho. We want to do it right and make it a lasting event. Can anyone provide a rundown on the guidelines that need to be followed during the seperate events? I appreciate the help.

Wow- tall order! I have hosted a clan booth at highland games and my Son has participated in the athletic events, but, to get an overview of a complete Highland Gaming Event, you'd have to do a lot of research. I suggest Gooogling Highland Games and go to the different sites that come up and maybe contact some of the vent co-ordinators listed there.

Good Luck- sounds like an adventuresome undertaking!

TandVh, Thanks for the reply. I did a search and found some useful info. It is an undertaking and a half, but is worth it and will have alot of help. I just hope we can pull it off. Thanks again. Chris
