Just wanted to let everyone know, especially my friends in the game forum, that we are moving and we will be offline for a while. We are only moving our mobile home 11 miles to the east, but it is going to necessitate cutting off our electricity and more importantly, our phone service. The Tribal phone company will not put in a new phone line until the home is actually in place. They tend to be slow, so it may be 2009 before we get things up and running again ! We are also going to lose our DSL service, so I am bracing myself for the return to the ever so slow dial up . Everything shuts down this coming Friday, so you all take care and I look forward to getting back to the forums as soon as possible. Take care and have a great day!

Hope this goes well for you, when you combine "Utilities Time" with "Indian Time" you could REALLY be up a creek! You might try one of the "Accelerator" programs for your dial up. They CLAIM to increase your dial up speed, I don't know never tried them but it might be worth a go. Good luck on the move!

haynes, good luck on your move. The thought of going back to dial up makes me shutter...but I guess one is to be happy just to have a internet. Let us know how it goes.. Slainte

Thanks, everyone, for all the kind words. Today is the day everything shuts down for a while. I will try and check in when I bother my neighbors about using their Internet a couple of times a week ! Take care and we will post with you soon! Lord bless!

Thanks for the tip, Dog. I will definitely check it out. The Tribal phone company said we would have access to high speed in a couple of months. Phone line will ALLEGEDLY be up in about two weeks. Trust all is well with everyone. Take care and hope to be back soon!

I'm baack!!!! Kinda sorta ! We got our internet hooked back up and they found a DSL connection for us! Happy days! We are still moving into the house. There is no running water or septic tank yet, but it's coming! Sure have missed you all! I have been tying to catch up with all that's going on with everyone. My posting will still be a little irregular until we get completely moved in, but it's good to be able to post anything!! Take care and thanks to everyone who has wished us well with the move.
