Dundee I love the videos. Your music is fantastic. I loved the children dancing in the videos. In the Janesville Renaissance, the costumes and masks were beautiful. I see you had falcons too!! I think I saw a man belly dancer for the first time in my life!! unsure.gif That was one wasn't it??? lol

Thank you so much for sharing these wonderful videos!

I found the male belly dancer a bit "Disturbing"...

I asked and the lady at the desk was a bit taken aback at first, then said "of course, why not!". I told her I was just enquiring and went downstairs to the exercise equipment.

thank you very much ctbard rindy and mahone it took me 2 weeks to get the nerve to put the video up. the last instrument i played was a hurdy gurdy....

ladies....regarding the "male" B dancer (see i cant even say it) i think he may be playing for your team. *L* (not that there is anything wrong with that unsure.gif biggrin.gif )
but yea he did give me the creeps too... he was a little to heavy on the
eye makeup.... and gestrues when he wasnt dancing. laugh.gif

patch forgive me but what the hell are you talking about???

oh i forgot to mention in the janesville video you see "Bounding Main"
the acapella(sp?) sea shanty singers.... they have at least 2 of their CD's
on this site... request them often and rate them high... and if you ever get a
chance to see them dont miss it....

lady and bard.... unfortunately it takes more than one person wanting to hear me ... i usually stay with in a 4 hour drive of my home... and the way things are getting
now with gas prices i dont know what will happen ....
people dont seem to understand that there is more to playing somewhere then the hour or so you perform... there is the drive there and back, there is the cost of gas.. the cost of lodging if it is more than a two hour drive there is eating... there is rehearsal time (it isn't like you are spinning disc's)...and you would still like to bring back a little cash in your pocket.
expenses keep climbing and climbing...

my suggestion is to let the powers that be that run the festival up there know about me
through my website... i would love to travel to Montreal... or Connecticut for that matter.

but thanks for the compliments like most performers i have confidence issues.

I got a letter from my exercise place offering belly dancing classes. I assumed it was a mistake. There was some discussion about male belly dancers on a different thread. I finally asked them if men were welcome. I would not have made a good participant but probably would have been a very appreciative audience.

My grandfather (mothers side) had, and played, a hurdy gurdy among other instruments. Your video was impressive!

Looks like you had alot of fun. Hopefully I wll be abl to make it down there next year. Ours is in two weeks in Ironwood, Mi. So far the only problem looks to be the road construction on the main road to the faire.
