I had thought about starting a thread like that here but I dont know how much server space that might take up.. You can meet lots of great people and strike up friendships without having to worry about people forming false first impressions just because of your appearance. I have posted a personal picture in my profile but it was a long time before I felt comfortable enough to do so. I had to get to know these people and see what a nice bunch of people they are before I revealed my face to them! Of course this has a down-side too! All you have to do is load a photo of yourself in "my pictures" You can do that by scanning a photo or putting one in by your digital camera. All you gotta do then is load it in per instructions on the personal photo section. If you have trouble with that, you might need to host your photo onto a photo website and get an url and post it from there. Am I am making any sense or talking foreign to you? I know the feeling! I agree, It is hard getting pictures to "stick"... I had a picture of my grandson, Devin there and had to remove it and then log off and back on to get another picture to stick.. I also adjusted it to 500 pixels, but don't know whether that was necessary. AND It was hard to find one of me... I am the picture taker around here, not very often the subject.. This is the only one I could find in the past couple of years Anyway, I have enjoyed looking at everyone's picture on this post. It's nice to put faces with names.
