USN;

My friend if on your trip to the "old sod" you get to Ulster and are up near Glenarm or Cushendall on the coast. Look North East and you should see Arran on the Left and the Scottish mainland on the right. Split the difference and you will be looking at Troon where I was born. Has to be a clear day though or you won't see a damn thing what with all that Highland Mist.

Camac.

PS. Yeah the mist gets down to the Lowlands. laugh.gif laugh.gif

USN;
Thanks for the toast and I hope you don't put the glass down till the kegs empty.
I have a small confession to make, I am part Irish as my maternal Grandfather was from Galway. My maternal grandmother was Einglish. Hell of a thing for a Scot to admit. Anywho one takes ones nationality from ones father and he was as Scots as they come.

Well, this will be my last post for a couple of weeks. Off to the Emerald Isle!!!!
Thanks, to everyone of you, who gave us insight for this trip. We truly appreciate your kindness. smile.gif

I unsubscribed to all my topics sad.gif , I didn't realise how many had caught my attention and how much I posted!!! Now I see how some of you get into the 1000's of posts. This is a great site thumbs_up.gif laugh.gif

Please take care of Ctbard while we are away as she has a tendency to the wild side if not closely monitored. tongue.gif and she is feeling a little depressed at not being able to go and play pirate wench rolleyes.gif
