How do we as Christians trust the news we get if a number of the Owners and Editorial Boards of Major Media Outlets don?t believe in ?absolute reality? or ?moral absolutes?? Some of them are even outright hostile to Evangelical Protestants and Conservative Catholics? I feel like that some in the Press believe Christianity is the only World Religion that it is ok to disparage.

Your thoughts?

It's no secret that the media(all forms) is typically very Left Leaning. I have found it easier to take what is dulled out to me with a grain of salt then look into other news sources and try to figure out the truth on topics for myself. Its a little more time consuming but, especially in an election year, it pays off quite well.

I tend to just try and find the most unbiased there is. The Drudge Report and Fox are pretty good at that, not perfect, but a heck of a lot close than say CNN. I also just trust in my what my parents say because they are very strong Christains and they follow politics and news much more than I do.

Twas St . Patrick himself, sure, that set it;
And the sun of his labour with pleasure did smile,
And with dew from his eye often wet it.
It grows through the bog, through the brake, through the
Mireland, and they call it the dear little shamrock of Ireland.

The press has not been fair or impartial for decades. They report things as they fit their agenda. As far as targeting certain faiths, if you have faith, what does it matter? king.gif

rolleyes.gif Man oh man is that ever true. If the press put down Muslims or Buddhists or even atheists the way they do Christians, they'd be shot! These days its cool to look down on Christians... that's why I am always so pleased to see people take a stand openly for their belief in Christ.
