I'm sick. Everybody pity me. sad.gif

I'm serious; it never fails. Every year as soon as the really hot weather of summer tones down, I get this. Actually I think this year it's because my daughter dragged home this one. All the kids in her class have had this so far, including mine. She was sick about two days and bounced right back. My husband sniffled twice and shook it right off.

I, however, get to be on my deathbed till further notice. It's not fair!

I think I want a new immune system for Christmas. Anyone else have this happen to them?

I just get about a week of a hacking cough, no big thing.

...you're one of those healthy people. I'm jealous.

Brian walks in the room with a look of pity on his face....

I'm sorry you're sick, Sekhmet. I hope you get better soon.

I get a cold every October. I think it's an allergy type thing. Last year I was taking alot of herbs and vitamins and didn't get it. For the life of me I can't remember what all I was taking. I guess I'll take a trip to WalMarts and go back to the herb and vitamin section.

There's another shortage of the flu shots this year. If any of you get the flu take care and don't get out in crowds and spread your germs, no matter how much you were taught to share. biggrin.gif

All of you take care, eat some chicken soup if your sick and load up on vitamin C to boost your immune system.

(comes bringing a couple boxes of the super size Puffs tissues)

You all want me to send you some of my mom's chicken soup?

Here's a parial list of what her chicken soup cures biggrin.gif :

Cold/flu
Measles
Mumps
Chicken pox
Anthrax
Tetnaus
Athlete's foot
Dandruff

Also, drink lots of Gatorade. Excellent source of fluids, and I believe that the minerals help stimulate the body.

A cup of hot tea will make you feel better, too.

I always had the same problem every year when autumn came, but since I've moved to Florida, it stopped. But when a hurricane blows thru, I get a headache, from the low pressure system? So this year has been a riot.

Bring it! My mother's sick too, so she's not showing up with the soup.

...though she claims the fudge brownies she makes can cure gunshot wounds and death...

~Luckily for me I don't *knocks on wood* take a cold during the changing of the seasons~ Sinuses are a pure nuisance but, better to deal with than a cold~ I hope everyone gets to feeling better~ wink.gif

Hi All,

My Brother is a Dr. of Naturophathy. he told me to help fight this cold and respitory, and prevent it to get what is called Silver Biotics. Also do extra vitiman C as we all know and the Echinacea.

Lets all have some chicken noodle soup just because it tastes good! eat.gif

I'm getting there. Mostly now it's junk in my lungs that I can't get rid of and my morning bout with a stuffed head. I was cleaning the other day and overdid it too...whee. I hate being sick.
