Buy this CD. You will love it. It's not the traditional Scottish folk fare that has made Bruce popular on several continents. Instead, this is a glimpse into Bruce's amazing songwriting talents along with covers of a couple of really wonderful songs that really complement Bruce's compositions. Which are my favorites on this album? That's such a hard question! * Climb Your Mountain -- you'll get goose-bumps when you hear the full expanse of Bruce's Welsh vocal heritage * Will You Take Me Back Again Someday -- one of my personal favorites (thanks, Sandra!) * Monday Night in Nashville -- you will feel the songwriter's struggle * The School Nativity Play -- this song will keep you giggling for days! * What's the Use of Wings -- Bruce covers a gorgeous song that will inspire you * Forever Again -- if you've ever felt the angst of a relationship that's struggling, this song will lift your spirits and give you hope * Smoky Mountain Wishes -- Where else would a Tennessee Hillbilly girl want to hear Bruce sing, if not in Scotland? |
