Agreed. Looking at that place from here really makes me want to buy it off the 'rents. There are over 350 acres on the deed. That green spot where the house is, is actually the lawn. You can't even make out the house, or the big tin roofed barn. It's a wonder Dad can mow that much lawn, and it still manages to grow every time he goes around.
Actually, it would be even better to get a spot out on the lake. You can't buy islands, but you can by lake front property. Hey, it's worthless land to the crown. They can't do lumber out there, because they have to be so many metres from the lake. And there are no major roads out there, (logging roads only go so far, as you can see. Stora [big logging company in the east] bought rights to use our own road and extend it past our land)

Caw "I am a Canadian by birth, but I am a Highlander by blood and feel under an obligation to do all I can for the sake of the Highlanders and their literature.... I have never yet spoken a word of English to any of my children. They can speak as much English as they like to others, but when they talk to me they have to talk in Gaelic." -Alexander Maclean Sinclair of Goshen (protector of Gaelic Culture) We need more Stan Rogers. jams
