Beats me Leelee! what's a Bush party?

Antonio - A bush party, in Canada, is a secluded area out of town where you & your mates have a party with a bon fire, drinks, food and music smile.gif

The last time I stopped to smell the flowers was this morning; my roses biggrin.gif

When was the last time you rode the Ferris Wheel?

Thanks Leelee! that sounds like a camping trip to me. ( can't figure out how to do the little Quote window thingee, it just won't work for me. tongue.gif )

DISCIPLINE MUST BE A HABIT SO INGRAINED THAT IT IS STRONGER THAN THE EXCITEMENT OF BATTLE OR THE FEAR OF DEATH.
General George S. Patton

Laws that forbid the carrying of firearms, disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes. Such laws make things worse for the assulted, and better for the assailants. They serve rather to encourge, than to prevent homicides. For an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man.

Matter of fact I just got back about an hour ago, from just such a place. My younger brother and I drove up to Lick Observatory, it's on Mt. Hamilton about half way between my home and San Jose, Ca. ( about 30 miles as the crow fly's, on the highway and mountain road about 68 mi.) Mr. Lick donated $700,000.00 to the California State University, to put the first of 10 Telescopes on the Mountain. It's about 121 years old, and after his death he was placed in a tomb in the basement directly under the 36" Refractor Telescope he had built. I believe it was finished in 1888.

Where was the last place you went, that you totally disliked. ( not including Dr. or Dentist )

As a matter of fact, we went to a DimSum Restaurant Downtown yesterday with a friend. Shopping, working or even going to a Doctors Appt. Downtown is getting mighty scary fear.gif There seems to be more & more unsavory types of people congrugating. It just doesn't matter if you're walking with burley men or no, it seems to become more of a challenge for these folk. Needless to say, I was aware of everything around me with "hackles raised" walking from the car to the restaurant (about 1 1/2 blocks). Very sad.......I was glad to get in the car (afterwards) & drive to a safer part of town. rolleyes.gif

Last May, trying to decide if I should stay at the job I have had for more than 20! yrs. or look for something else. New corporate owners, brought in their own management. Said this is your new job, here's what we pay take it or go away. Well I'm still there, working much more for much less. But I should be thankful at least I still have a job. wink.gif

Where was the last place you vacationed?.

Amazon.com

You would think maybe Mall of America as I hail from Minnesota?

I hate the place. Mall of America that is, not Minnesota.

What was the last time you had a first time(for example, my first grandchild a couple of months ago)?

Well, depending on what size of a population center you consider a city(Perham is 2500), probably yesterday when I drove out to a potato field to look at the Leonid Meteor shower.

When was the last time you attended an office Christmas party?
