AAAAHHHHh St. Patricks day, Well in St.Louis we have two parades, the city parade is Sat., I will be taking my grandkids to this one and am making shepards pie and corned beef, cabbage and new potatoes for a big party afterwords, Tuesday 3/17 there is a parade in Dogtown (the Irish section of St.Lou), this is the party, fare warning I am not responsible for my actions at and after this parade, but it is a great time, Oh yes and CR will be playing where ever I am both days.
To all at CR, enjoy celebrating our Irish heritage and raise a pint to the old Italian St. Patrick, Gandolf3339
I will be at work through the day and most likely will do office work where I can listen to Highlander Radio. My wife comes back from helping her mother from Florida, so if it works we may well join the local celebration that evening at the Fox & Hound Pub in Evansville, Indiana.
Oh, and with true missionary zeal, I may launch an attack that day on the Medieval Kingdom game! I hope the new king minds his own business!
Rindy Posted on 12-Mar-2009, 08:38 PM My plans are to be right here and also watching QVC live on my screen. It's a tradition now. It's going to be fun as it always is on St. Patricks Day!
May I ask, what is QVC Live???
Make that 2 that wants to know, what is QVC. Is it the shopping network??
In answer to your questions it is the shopping channel and they have 24 hours of nothing but St.Patricks Day items. A lot of Irish guests are on and I usually pick myself up something on this day. I found the link the day Barley Juice were performing. Here is the link QVC Live?
QVC is a shopping channel we have herein the US,can get you in a lot of trouble. And they have a Big show at St.Paddy's time everything an anything to do with Ireland. I brought a wool sweater from them about 8 years ago and still have it,still keeps me warmon cold nights.

Here in Chicago, we had our parades this weekend. The downtown parade, where they dye the Chicago River green (at least a prettier shade of it anyway) was yesterday. The South Side Irish parade (aka the real parade) was today. I didn't go though.

May the Irish hills caress you. May her lakes and rivers bless you. May the luck of the Irish enfold you. May the blessings of Saint Patrick behold you.
I will be blasting Celtic Radio from my PC to the enjoyment (whether they like it or not) of my coworkers. Then it is off to home for a corned beef, cabbage, red potato, and a pint of Guinness for supper with the clan while listening to Celtic music and watching my DVD of Celtic Women.
I had my yearly corned beef fix this weekend. One of the local churches has their annual dinner the weekend closest to St. Paddy's day. So because it was a charity/church event, the calories/salt/fat don't count.
Who's ready for St. Patty's?! can't wait! Hey I'm from Galicia does anyone here have any idea where that is? Just curious to know because most people in here are Irish or Scottish.
Happy St. Patrick's Day to all my celtic friends. I hope everyone that celebrates the day stays safe and Happy! I won't be here tomorrow but will be thinking of all the good music and friendship that goes on during the day....
I'll be leading the Parada de San Patricio in Boqueron, Puerto Rico. In her own inimitable way, the isla del Encanto is herself an emerald isle, with her own fourty shades of green (especially today!)
