Hello.
I am a new listener from Central New York State, Syracuse to be precise. I saw that you needed to make at least one posting to be eligable to win a CD from Clann An Drumma. I have wanted to hear more of this group that I have yet to see, so I am crossing my fingers.
I am 42 and originally from the northern parts of New York state. I am married to a lovely lass from Dublin Ireland. We have a great 10 year old son who is mad about football (soccer). He likes Man U & I am a Celtic fan.
I am looking forward to hearing some great Celtic music on this site.

Rick

Welcome to the forum. You will really enjoy your time here. Glad to hear from another CAD fan. Once you see them, You will be tribalized. They are really a great group. once their show is over they talk to you like they have known you
forever. .
We have seen them 4 times already this year wish I had the money to go to either North Carolina or Pa. to see them. But the cash is kind of short right now.So I will have to wait till next year to see them again. cry.gif crybaby.gif That is so sad.

Hi ya Ripowell,
You will most certainly hear music here that you never thought existed or was long forgotten, from piping tunes that will make your hart beat faster to beautifully sung laments and lovesongs that will make you shiver and make your hairs stand out straight.
Welcome to the world wide club of Celts.

I grew up 30 miles from Potsdam & got my BA there too! Small world!
