Celtic Guardian Group: Celtic Nation Posts: 6,352 Joined: 05-Mar-2008 Zodiac: Ivy Realm: Alberta, Canada	Thanks to yesterday afternoon and evening's intermittent downpour, we have skating rinks for sidewalks and roads to contend with today....oh yes and more to be expected today. It was quite the task walking the dog this morning. I was cringing as I watched the cars taking the corners on the road before them too quickly. I was sure to see a crash.....well, the day isn't over yet and the dog is due for another walk shortly. When will these people learn to drive according to the road conditions???? It's -2 C (28 F) right now. Expecting sunny breaks throughout the day with a high of 2 C (36 F). The news mentioned possible showers.....I hope not...we've had enough!!

North winds gusting at 30 km/h to 50 km/h. Temperature falling to -33 C (-27 F) this evening......now that is BBBBRRRRRR!!! A winter storm/blizzard hit us on Friday. Commuters were in ditches, they closed down a few highways and now people are digging their way out of their houses and driveways. Not that they could really go anywhere......the residential and main streets and avenues are horrendous. Everyone's getting stuck!!! I don't mind winter, but did it have to dump on us all at once? Hoping all the folks down East are doing okay They were hit pretty hard as well.

Hopefully the power doesn't go out today. The power shut down for three (3) hours yesterday. OHHHHH!! It's 40 below & I don't give a f$@! got a heater in my truck and I'm off to the Rodeo......

About 4 hours away from you and 10 degrees colder (-15C (5F)) with lots of snow. I'll be driving past you on my way to Niagara Falls on December 28. Will gladly dump some snow on you on my way by, so you can at least have a white New Years.
