Hi there,
This is LadyNightingale just saying hello. I'm a new member and I found my way here through Marc Gunn and the Irish &Celtic music podcast. I am a programmer on cjmp.ca and have a 2 hour show every Saturday from 1-3pm pacific time. My program is "Country Roads,Celtic Bliss and Stone Soup" and is a mix of country and celtic with a little bit of everything else thrown in to spice up the "Soup". I am on the lookout for new celtic music so I'm hoping this forum will help in that quest. You can check my facebook page under djladynightingale and tune in on Saturdays on cjmp.ca. If you do drop by on facebook -please like me.

Hello to you, Lady Nightingale, from the great Navajo Nation in Northern Arizona! So glad you have discovered us! Hope the music you are hearing is helping with your broadcast! I also keep an eye out for good new Trad music. I'm sure folks will be glad to help. Two groups I am really enjoying are Socks in the Frying Pan (Yep, it's a group) and Craobh Rua. Both are fantastic!

Welcome aboard and have a great day!!

Welcome LadyNightingale!

Marc gun is the God Father of Celtic music. I am so glad to hear you found us through his website. I do believe he was one of the first musicians to send us his CD when we first started up over 10 years ago. I think it was with his duo with the Brobdingnagian Bards.

Read our featured article on them made around that time:

Will definitely have to check out your program and website. Thanks for joining on Celtic Radio and hope to see you on here again!
