(incidentally, yes, I did walk out on a job that I hated....now I have had to go back to it, but things are looking up, my husband and I may get a chance to work together....interview tomorrow.
Oh and Wally is fine, his arms are broken, but they have said that he should heal just fine.)

So how is the party going? Is everyone having a good time? Did you know that I LOVE the snow? Did you know that I am STILL hoping for at least one BIG snow this year? It could still happen, you know? Wasn't St Patty's Day great here on CR? Did yousee all of the new faces we had? Wouldn't it be great if they all kept coming back to chat with us? Did you know that I hope they do?

What I don't understand is WHY you are hoping for snow? are you crazy? loopy? or just plain nuts? When is it going to get warm? Will it be soon? What color is the keg today? Where did I leave my mug? Anybody seen my cue stick? where'd the pool table go? have I broken a window yet?

Well, did you know that I have emphysema? And did you know that when the air is cold and damp that I breathe MUCH easier? Did you know that when the air is hot, dry and still that I feel like I am smoothering? And did you know that when I see those first flakes start flying that I feel just like a kid again? That my heart starts racing and that I want to go find my sled put on my coat and boots and head outside? And did you know that we haven't had more than 2-3 inches at a time this year? And did you know that the weathermen have gotten my hopes up SEVERAL times this year, predicting MAJOR snow events, and that all we've gotten has been an inch or two each time? Why do they want to tease me like that? I just want ONE good snow of AT LEAST 10 or more inches, okay? If you'll let me have it, I'll quit wishing for snow, okay? And I think the kegs are back to their normal color now, aren't they?

Rindy, did you know that I am on Advair and have an emergency albuterol inhaler? But isn't it great that the emphysema is only in the beginning stages? Did I tell you that doc said that since I have quit smoking that it shouldn't get any worse? Can we party? Can I say "Yes we can!"? Ready for another keg?
