2019 FUND RAISING DRIVE <hr>Well, if you have not heard our yearly fund raising drive has started in earnest and we are already half way to our goal which is truly awesome! Thank you! Our biggest expense this year was hiring a dedicated account manager for the Celtic Radio App which requires ongoing security enhancements and keeping up with all of the Apple and Play store requirements. We also purchased a new back-up server As we have done in past years, we like to have a little fun with our donation event by offering "thank you" gifts. We also bundle with donations $20 or more a special coupon code for 1 year of Celtic Radio Premium which includes full access to our app. It really represents a great value and you get a really cool gift too! A big thank you to everyone that helps support this website! Always amazing to us that every year we are able to make our goal and keep this site going now for 15+ years. Check-in on the current fund raising stats shows we are about $500 away from meeting our goal. Whats amazing about this years fund raising is the number of donations - really a community effort and one that will have benefits for so many people. To help get the push to the goal, we plan on offering some special discounts on our Celtic Mandala Calendars and our Celtic Castles hardcover book. More details to come later in the week. As always we appreciate your support that allows us to continue to run Celtic Radio - something that we love to do. Everyone have a wonderful rest of St. Patrick's Day - enjoy some Guinness with our music in the background.

Again, a very big thanks to everyone that helps keep this site and music streaming. We are so close to our goal that it will only take a few more donations to wrap up 2019! In addition to a planned upgrade to our App come April and because of the success of our fund raising drive we have decided to open a new channel called "The Best of Highlander Radio" and to reopen our Christmas Channel for the entire year which had been only a season channel. Yes, believe it or not we actually had a few complaints making that channel seasonal. More details about our new channel soon.

Haynes, Yes we did make the goal and thank you and everyone else for making that happen! We are going to start on the thank you gifts now, so it might be several weeks for us to get through mailing all of the gifts. Hoping for an App upgrade next month with our vendor to support new devices and fix some bugs. We are also introducing a new channel which we will have more details about and resurrecting our Celtic Christmas channel all year long. I know some people will say "What? Christmas music all year long!" - but we actually had a few people really hoping it would be available throughout the year.

We wanted to express a big thank you for reaching our goal this year. And to express our apologies on the delay in mailing out the donation packages in a timely manner. Unfortunately, a member of the Celtic Radio family was recently diagnosed with a very serious chronic health condition that required a lot of our time over these past few months. She is doing much better now but her diagnosis is life long. With things calming down, we finally were able to get the first batch of donation packages out the door today. Roughly about 25 mailings and we plan on having all donation packages mailed out by this weekend. So keep an eye on the mail box! Thanks again for everyone that supports this site. We very much appreciate it.

Good news, we have mailed most of the donation packages out. If you ordered a stein, coffee mug or Tee Shirt those will be produced and mailed over the weekend. Thank you all for your support. After all donation packages have been mailed we are going to start on an upgrade to our App which will bring it up to the most current software to work on most phones.

Hi Dalern63! Wow you are a long time member. Good news, the App was upgraded thanks to our member donations and the results coming in appear to be good. Be sure to check out the new Social Hall from within the App. A place to post messages, pictures and videos.
