Yes, thank you to Paul who allowed this to happen here. smile.gif

Compassion is the sometimes fatal capacity for feeling what it is like inside somebody else's skin. It is the knowledge that there can never really be any peace and joy for me until there is peace and joy finally for you too.

how can it be called progress?

Hi Elspeth, I've come in late but I wanted to say how wonderful that we can share two very beautiful things:

1. A love of the faith once delivered to the saints.
2. a love for things celtic, especially the lovely music on highlander radio.

That means we have an aweful lot in common, praise the Lord!

Elspeth, I am reminded of what is easy to forget, that this forum (Kirk and chapel) is unique.
It is one of the very few places, if not the ONLY place, in cyberspace where celtic and christian come together.

that makes it special, a place of Light and the beauty of the "ancient paths"

Jer 18:15 Because my people hath forgotten me, they have burned incense to vanity, and they have caused them to stumble in their ways from the ancient paths, to walk in paths, in a way not cast up;

I am new to Celtic Radio, but not a new Christian. Like so many others have said, thank you Elspeth for offering a forum for those of us who are believers in Christ. And like some of those above me, it is great to see those who love God and Christ and also love things Celtic. It is such a great joy to me to be able to associate with those of like mind. I teach four year olds in a truly Christian Classical school, and it's one of those rarities to find something that you love to do in life.
Again, thanks for the forum. I will be checking in quite often.

Is there any forum for prayer requests - maybe this one; or should I start one?
