What Clan To Join If At All?, Newish member

I am a newish member but have built up my mines and army a fair bit now. Being a Scottish Henderson on my maternal side, I wonder which clan should we belong to or be allied too? Having no knowledge of the clan family names, I'm a bit bemused.[COLOR=blue]

For the most part, the clans in the game have no relation to Scottish clans. Even the few that do, only the guy who started the clan is related to the real clan. Don't worry about the name, just find the group of folks you fit in with best, or go it on your own. Either way, have fun.

Yes, open some conversations with the Clan leaders and read old posts to see how the treat folks and what their disposition is.

It's been quiet for a long time - the clans are resting and rebuilding. We are all in this for some side entertainment. Like TheCarolinaScotsman said, find a group of folks and join in....you never know how things will turn out

And let's not forget that Clan Gordon has promised to do some serious attackin' in the near future.

Perhaps you might wish to get thyself on the rather big side?

C'mon. Provide some substance or don't say anything at all. I'm not saying they're NOT a lying and cheating clan, but if you're going to say something like THAT, you'd better provide more than an accusation.

This is just one of the lies that I have proof of, We have not and will not attack smaller Clans and have not attacked anyone as a Clan since McInn disbanded, As for the cheating just like with LoA I can not prove it but I hope CR will look into multiaccounts.

Well, this could be simply a manufactured pretext to create a war. Lord Englishmix once sent armies against me, claiming that there was a foul stench emanating from the lands of Buchanan.

As for the multi-accounts, it's a serious accusation, and something Paul could pretty easily check into. (Having administered a number of forums in my time, such multi-account nonsense is simple enough to see.)

Has anyone asked him to look into it? Has he done so? Has he removed multiple accounts? If not, there may be nothing to this claim.

Again, I'm not stating an opinion one way or another. I know that aside from Lord Englishmix and my wargames, Clan DARK has not attacked us. That doesn't mean Clan Gordon is or is not lying. I don't know anything about that.

However, while it may not always be to our advantage, war is a possibility in MK, and is never as far off as we'd like to assume.

1.The hendersons were a border family not a highland clan.

2. there is no such thing as scottish clans anymore. They dont exist.

How do you figure? I mean, I figure you really are a Glaswegian, but I wonder how you can say that they don't exist at all when there is still a registered clan chief for many clans in Scotland.

If, however, you meant that they no longer exist as a political and familial force with which to be reckoned, I can certainly agree with you there. I'd say they still exist, though in a much different form than once they did.

It's an opinion, though.

Ah, the fair Lord Taliesin is right in testifying that Clan DARK has not provoked war nor battle with Clan Mac Na Galla. And we thank you most kindly, Lord Taliesin, for making that public for it clears the air against the lies of underling kingdoms of Clan Gordon!

The skirmishes which I launched several fortnights ago against Taliesin to eliminate foul odors were announced before hand, and we had honorable fair combat together - in fact, our results we made public on a forum thread, which I highly recommend new players to take a look at for how a battle might go. But I digress...

If you are looking for an honorable Clan, you will find none better than Clan Dark (although there may be some equal). That is why our Clan is truly "Defending Armies of Righteous Kingdoms." I encourage you to speak with King McRoach or King Gandolf more privately - and you will find them ready to give assistance.

Yet it remains that Mac Na Galla and those reading this thread have now received warning about Clan Gordon's kind of fighting. I hope you take heed before it is too late to stop the growing power of darkness reeking over Medieval Kingdom.
