What is going on in the Northeast tonight. Heavy snow warnings, 60 mph blizzard conditions. Are we entering another ice age or is this an effects of Global warming!

Will someone please tell the man upstairs to bring Spring on now! biggrin.gif

Thankyou!

We got blasted here in Ontario as well!! It snowed most of Sunday and Monday and is about 13 degrees below the normal temperature for this time of year. Early spring!?!? Last time I listen to a groundhog!!!!

I'd like to combine the Bill Murray movie "Groundhog Day" with two Uma Thurman movies: "Kill Phil" (as in Punxsutawney) biggrin.gif !

Not that I would ever promote cruelty to animals, mind you.

Even my Siberian Huskies seem to be tired of this cold. Normally, they love being outside when it's like this. But today, they wanted nothing to do with it! laugh.gif

I just love the 40 degree temperature drop. I am originally from Northern New York and miss the brisk winds and winters we had there. Looking forward to the snow we are expecting here this weekend. biggrin.gif

The weather has been crazy here in the South too. Its been cold, hailing , and snowing during the past 2 weeks. I'm ready for the cold weather to leave and warm weather to come so I can start planting my garden.

This morning we had 5 inches of snow on the ground, the weather warmed up, most of the snow melted. Now it's snowing again and the ground is covered with about 1 inch of snow. How many days until spring? Is there gonna' be a spring? unsure.gif

Well here in Macon Georgia it's spring. With the 40 mph winds to the blast of 80 degree's one day to 50 degree's at night time.

Spring is here in the middle georgia area. Macon is having their Peach Blossom Festival soon.

Here in south central Kentucky our spring can't make up its mind. One day we will have mild temps and the next we have snow showers. At least our wild daffodils are in full bloom. My 84 year old mother told me the other day that her mum (from England) used to tell her of the wild daffodils in spring in England but she had never seen it for herself until this year in Kentucky! smile.gif

I'll say that smile.gif Last Thursday it was chilly, but I was fine to take a walk. Day before yesterday I woke up to a white world covered in about as much snow as I've seen at one time any time this year. Just above freezing atm.

I've opened the window next to me just enough to let some fresh air in, and it smells nice. Been watching my computer's temperature and the core CPU temp has dropped three degrees to average at 113. Appears to still be falling too. Seen it register 111 several times while typing this.

My son went to Portland, Maine with his girlfriend, for spring break (She is from there). They got snowed in!
As of this posting they still have not left. And yes, classes started back up today.
