Ahha! It seems that it was my computer. I was running Windows through Bootcamp and iTunes wasn't getting much CPU speed I guess...
I restarted into OS 10 and it's all clear again! Yay!

I'm listening to Highlander radio right now and it sounds like there's really jerky playback coming through. Is anyone else hearing this? It's almost like a scratched CD sound or something. I'm guessing it's coming from the server but I'm not sure?

I'm putting together a poster for my local Irish dance club and I was trying to find some free Irish dance clipart to put on the poster. Does anyone know where I can find such art?

I've done extensive searching on the web for the last hour and nothing has come up!

Thanks much for your help,

Hello Everyone,
Thanks for all the replies! I've been swamped with my job and so I haven't had time to pursue this over the last week but hopefully soon. I'll have to read through everyone's reply and figure out what to do! Thanks very much!

Good day,
I have an interest in buying a kilt to wear this summer at any Irish/Scottish festivals I get to go to and I was curious if I can have some help doing this?
I don't know anything about formal/casual Scottish/Irish dress so please treat me like I know nothing in your answers. angel_not.gif

The main festival I'll be going to is Irish so I think that might be the best route to take. But, I don't really know if kilts are as Irish as they are Scottish. Historically, are they as common?

What kind of kilt should I purchase for wearing at these festivals. I would like to get something that is a little more on the formal side than casual work atire I think.

And can anyone please provide some links to good websites to buy this in the US so I don't get robbed with international shipping.

With the kilt I'm sure I'll want to get a Sporran so any help there too, please.

Thank you kindly for any help you can offer me!

Take care,
-Andy

Yep, I'm dearly hoping so. :-)

I won a CD at some other random Irish/Celtic site about 4 years ago and had never heard the group before. I still listen to the CD often! It was a great introduction to a new group!

After that I'm going to the local Irish bar to hear some Irish tunes I hope! :-D

Thanks CelticRadio. :-)
Glad you like it. There are many limits as to what one can do with these 'widgets' but it's still good for personal use.

You need to have OS 10.5 installed and once you do so, open safari and go to the website you want to clip a section for. Then click the new button at the top of Safari that has the scissors on it. This will let you trim out the section of website you wish to make a widget for. Then click the 'done' button and you have your own widget.

The major limitation for this is that the 'widgets' we're making are not actually saved files. They can only exist on your personal computer and you can't further edit them to more of an extent than is provided in Dashboard. In other words, using XCode Dashcode won't work to edit the widgets. I've already tried. :-)

If you need further help, catch me online with iChat....using the new iChat screen sharing I could physically show you on your computer!!!! AMAZING! APPLE ROCKS!!!

My AIM name is andyorr1982

Take care,
-Andy
