Lydia McCauley -- Foreignlander Just finished playing. Thinking about starting it again as I didn't have repeat enabled. Been listening to it all day long
Here, here Aaediwen...what a wonderful album! I'm gonna have to save back some and get it myself!
(listened to it today and honestly, this album touched my heart like none other...makes me want to grab some copies of Heather Dale, Clannad, and Loreena McKennitt to add to my collection!)

Amen, Maggie! I'm with you 110%! I read a quote somewhere that "Music is the voice of the human soul." And I was so impressed by it that it has stuck with me for a long time.

'S i Alba tìr mo chridhe. 'S i Gàidhlig cànan m' anama. Scotland is the land of my heart. Gaelic is the language of my soul.

Couldn't say it better than how you Wizard and you maggie said it. We don't do a lot of tv rarely any so there is always music going in our home.
I am listening to Highlander Radio while I post. I think we all should get up and move! I like Creed. I think the lead singer has a good voice. I'll be my family is getting tired of CR oh well!!!
I like Creed too! My husband is not a fan of Highlander radio music. He is always saying, how can you listen to that kind of music all the time?

They are not addicted like we are! Right. I think the jigs help my fingers move faster. Sometimes my feet are a stompin and fingers going I probably look totally ridiculous. Oh well.. CR RULES>>>
May the Irish hills caress you. May her lakes and rivers bless you. May the luck of the Irish enfold you. May the blessings of Saint Patrick behold you.

I think I heard this in a Bose commercial:
"Music is the soundtrack of our life."
How true. People can remember what song was playing when they had their first kiss, or what they danced to at their wedding reception.
BTW. I'm listening to Metallica's ...And Justice For All CD on my portable CD player and new headphones. I had to replace my old ones . I could tell the quality of the sound was decreasing.

All Wal-Mart had for Sony headphones (which is what I normally buy) was the ones which go around the neck and cover the ear. I don't like those. I don't like the feel of the band on my neck and the earpads get funky after a while. But Panasonic is a name I know and trust.
My Metallica CD just ended.
Now it's Licensed To Ill by the Beastie Boys.

I jsut got through listening to some of a concert video by Kilt, a Celtic band from Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. Unfortunately they aren't around anymore, but now at least I can still enoy their music! Here's a link:
"He is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog. You are his life, his love, his leader. He will be yours, faithful and true, to the last beat of his heart.
You owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion."
