Just a note that some of our broadcast songs are being moved to unrequestable locations in preparation for some changes in our lineup. We've also added some new music; however, we have not yet uploaded the song albums.

So the long and short of it is that things might look a bit off with our playlist and album covers, but don't worry....they should be fixed in a few days.

Ok, looks like our song line-up is shaping up. We have created some new mixes of Celtic Genres in preparation for an actual broadcast program. The most exciting is the pub music genre. Whoa...I could listen to that all day! beer_mug.gif

We basically pooled songs from other genres into this new mix. I won't bore you with our programming secrets, but alot of new stuff will be coming your way over the next month. Hey, we are even working on our Christmas line up!

Yeah! Christmas music!
I remember last year's selections were beautiful. I can't wait.

Celtic Christmas Music sound cool to me. thumbs_up.gif

My wife and I get up on Christmas morning (not early either, no kids at home!) We usually listen to Hammer Dulcimer Christmas Music but I this year it will be Celtic, Even thought she has no Celtic Blood, she is really getting into it. After 28 years of me, maybe I am finally rubbing off on her. laugh.gif yea right!

Hey Everyone!

Have I have been away from the site since late last week, so my apologies for not answering any posts/messages here.

Have been concentrating on new materials. We have quietly added about 500 new songs and are building up other song genres for our forthcoming programming.

Lots of new Christmas materials! I made the mistake of putting these in our request database and sure enough people started requesting them, so had to remove them atleast for another few weeks!

As far as times for special song genres, so far we have decided on bagpipe hour nightly, civil war hour once a week, Pub Music ? 2 hours Friday and Saturday nights, jigs and reels hour nightly. And something new which we will be adding in a few weeks is a special children?s half hour every night (thinking maybe 8:00-8:30) which will feature a 5-10 minute story with the rest of the time devoted to children?s Celtic music ? although very much suited to the adult listener too!

Macfive,

I like hearing of the Special's time slots. Especially the Children's 1/2 hour slot, this may give me extra materials to learns for when I play at campfires for the kids.

I don't plan to miss the other Features either, My Wife and I are tuned in here about every night, and she love the idea of the Pub Music on the weekends.

I assume the times will be Posted here when they start?

Thanks, Richard

Glad to hear there is interest in the Children?s half hour. (A personal favorite of myself!) Nothing set in stone yet with the time, but we will post a rough draft here of the schedule once we start introducing these special music programs.

Eventually we will have a programming guide that will be tied to your local time so that you can see what time the special music programs are actually playing, rather than trying to calculate the time yourself. We are also planning on some fancy frontpage work so that - for example ? when it is the Childrens Time or Bagpipe hour the top left hand welcome message and newsbytes will change to an appropriate Graphically Picture and an announcement that now is ?Bagpipe Hour? or whatever the special special programming is.
