Ojkay, Netflix sent Monarch of the Glen. It is pretty good. I am not used to serious serials. Here in America, there really aren't any great weekly shows that don't have sex, violence or stupidity rampant in them. So it took some getting used to, but I will be checking out the second season soon : )
Is the first show on the DVD the actual first show of the series? If Brian hadn't explained it all to me, then I would have been a bit confused.

Hi Susie! MOTG gets better! I wasn't particularly fond of Series 1 myself as I did not like Katrina.
The first show on the DVD 1 is the first of the series. DVD 1 should be Series 1. I love Series 2. Hope you get that soon! I ordered my Series DVD 2 and it is supposed to be shipped to me soon. If you can, Susie, try to rent them all. It is a drama and comedy all in one! And thank goodness I too have Dish Network so I can watch it on BBC America!
Okay, I finally added it to my queu, and it should be here in the next few weeks or so! I will let ya'll know what I think of it when I get done watching it. May seems an awful long time from now, doesn't it?
Oh! How exciting, Brian! That is great news. By that time I should have seen the first two Seasons I have now!
If you get a chance too. Look for Hamish MacBeth on BBCA on Monday evenings. Very good show set in Scotland. You can't get the series on DVD, but it is going to restart the series on February 14th and I am going to record it.
