Ok, been doing some modifications this afternoon and the menu under the forum will be a little crazy for just a few more hours as I have to go pick up my 6 year old daughter at Grandma's!
The good news is I have been working on making Firefox/Mozilla much more compatible thanks to Aaediwen's persistent in identifying these issues.
Hopefully this will have a download stream effect on other browsers too!
I'll post an official message once the work is done later tonight, but just wanted to let you all know that the crazy menu is a controlled effect!
Hopefully this will have a download stream effect on other browsers too!
Don't you mean downward ?
A slip of the tongue, so to speak ?

I did notice that bar is going alittle crazy! I was surprised when I first came to the page, didn't know were it was! But of course, it's just Mac fooling around again!

Dear Lord, lest I continue in my complacent ways, help me to remember that someone died for me today. And if there be war, help me to remember to ask and to answer "am I worth dying for?" - Eleanor Roosevelt
The ultimate result of shielding men from the effects of folly is to fill the world with fools. -- Herbert Spencer, English Philosopher (1820-1903)
Yes, playing again. Sorry about the bar. I will have it fixed tommorow.
I've decided to switch my work station to firefox web browser and thunderbird email. So, with using Firefox I want to fix some of the items that look different than Internet Explorer (IE).
Alot of it is minor stuff, but enough to bother me because I know thats not how it was designed. Seems like alot of items that are centered in IE are not centered in Firefox.
I am hopefuly that once I am completed with with this, then the CelticRadio.net will look the same in any browser - whether it is safaria, opera, netscape, firefox, etc. It certainly has come a long to be cross browser compatible with everyones comments and suggestions.
Ok, a quick diversion about Windows: I have Windows XP installed on my Dell workstation. I refuse to upgrade to Service Pack 2. Why? Because I did and my computer slowed to a crawl and IE was slower than molasses! I backed out of it and finally have gone to Firefox browser and Thunderbird Email. I am very pleased, especially with using the "Set Program Access and Default" to non-microsoft - my computer is running even faster now. I really like the non-microsoft option. To be honest with you I am just getting sick and tired of all of these security updates and the whole microsoft security flaws. Windows Media 10 caused me the blue screen of death the other night when I went to play a DVD. So I have made Winamp my default media player for now.
Alright, now that I have gotten that off my shoulders! Some other items I have been working on this week: I've cleaned up 100's of mistakes in the HTML code on almost all pages of the site. Some of these could have caused freeze issues and performance issues when loading the page. All and all I am pretty much just optimizing and fixing code for the past week.

Is it even possible to make the site look right on all browsers? I notice that, at this particular moment, everything looks great on firefox, but the menus have wandered to the top of the page in IE6.
Also, Macfive, did you notice any change in speed with firefox before you adjusted your default Windows settings (and what are using for your personal e-mail software?)
