Member of the Donnell & Brady houses. The MacDonald of the Isles, my family is originally I believe from kintyre, though some of the geneology is a lil sketchy. I myself am a bohdrun player, and starting to learn the pipes on a chanter. My handfasted wife plays the harp, and we are both intrigued in Celtic music and lore. With the rising of popularity in "Celtic lore & New age music" I am a lil pretentious of my roots and very proud of my Celtic heritage. Always looking for a good discussion of celtic lore, and Pagan versus Christian ideologies in the blend of the traditions among the clans. I honestly do not take kindly to "new agers" who act like "twinks"...what I mean is that if you are interested in Paganism because you saw the movie the craft, or interested in Celtic lore & music because you feel that in a past life you fought with Wallace (soon after watching the M. Gibson movie)...Don't waste your time with me, I will give you no aide.

As I start to navigate.

Well I introduced myself to the list in the general discussion page, filled out a couple polls, and joined the geneology forum....a very productive day for a person who detests computers, and would rather go for a stroll in the woods than sit in front of a pc....but while I attend classes at the university what else am I supposed to do between classes?

My Signature:You will not go hungry until I starve, you shall not go thirsty as I have drink, you shall have my bed and be warm, you shall sit on my right as we feast in the great halls of our ancestors, and for when we die, and go to the great battle of valhalla....we shall stand together and fight ....at the end we shall look upon each other strewn with the blood of OUR enemies, and then....I shall call you FRIEND |
