Souvenir hunters are always on the look out for a neat souvenir to take home but the town of "Lost" decided last winter to change the town's name to "Lost Farm". In the last 5 years the "Lost" sign has disappeared four times an thte longest it has ever stayed in plae was just three months. After the Aberdeenshire councel decided on the name change and it was announced the councel was deluged with appeals to keep the name, some as far aways as the United States, Australia and France. The councels principal engineer said "we have had unbelievable interest in Lost". People are telling us we have to keep the name the same. For now the village 40 miles west of Aberdeen will continue to be Lost (celtic word for inn). So if you are ever in the area and on those rare occasions when the sign is there, tourists will continue to pose next to the sign pretending to be lost...
