Children

Smiles of innocence and baby teeth,
Laughter of ignorant bliss,
Happiness in naïveté,
With little suns shining in their irises,
And fresh hearts pumping liquid gold.

Hands raised in the air,
Leaves falling down,
Around;
Cheers

Thank you.
I wrote it this passing autumn after my little sister and cousins were playing in the leaves and the innocence just struck a nerve with me.

Cheyenne,

Simply beautiful! Shows a lot of maturity for one so young!
