Gosh do I love spring! With Punxsutawney Phil seeing his shadow it gives us hope (the ones wishing for an early spring). However I see that he is not too accurate.

"How accurate is Punxsutawney Phil?
Punxsutawney Phil has had a 39% accuracy rate regarding his early spring/late winter forecasts. Phil has seen his shadow nearly 87% of the time, so the odds are for six more weeks of winter."

Let's hope he's right this year.

On Celtic Radio facebook it was brought up about the 1978 on Feb. 5th blizzard in New England. I'm still scarred from that one as it was a storm that was a surprise for the most part. 27 inches fell in Boston. My brother and I at one point after a couple of days had to take a sled down to the store a couple miles away to get some food.
