I've just recently become a big Runrig fan (seems I've been hiding under a rock for most of my life ) and I hope I get a chance to see them in concert someday!

"There are worlds out there where the sky is burning, and the sea is asleep, and the rivers dream. People made of smoke and cities made of song. Somewhere there's danger, somewhere there's injustice, somewhere else the tea's getting cold. Come on, Ace; we've got work to do!"--Doctor Who, "Survival"
I just got back from the Denmark kickoff concert in Ørbæk and man was it cool! it was held in the yard of an old manor house. I took some pictures but I can't get them to post on here. You can see them on my photo album at Travel (page 5). I had so much fun. I hope to go to Loch Ness in August. I am currently living in Denmark so it's not so much of a stretch for me to get over. I only recently become a fan through Highlander Radio, so I wasn't sure what I was getting into. I only wish I hadn't gone alone. I even got some video of the drumming but it is on myspace.com.
I think they still have some camping tickets left. Apart from that, Drumnadrochit is already booked solid, so you'll have to get accomodation in Inverness or some such.
Runrig is one of those groups that should be mainstreamed in the U.S.A. Once people hear their music they are hooked. Promote them to your friends, family and associates!
We just heard from their front office man this week and they are sending us their most recent CD!
