Cape Cod Scottish Festival


Due to the loss of its venue in Sandwich, Massachusetts, the 2010 event will not take place. In 2011, this event will be moved to the town of Yarmouth.

Schotse Dagen (Scottish Days) Ooidonk


Scottish Days, held in August in Deinze, Belgium will not take place in 2010. No reason is given on their website.

Heart of Florida Celtic Festival and Highland Games


The Heart of Florida Celtic Festival and Highland Games (formerly the Zephyrhills Celtic Festival and Highland Games) held annually in Dade City, Florida, will not be held in 2013. Website states that they hope to return in 2014. Last festival took place on March 31, 2012.

Oregon Scottish Heritage Festival


Held annually in April in Albany, Oregon. This festival will not take place in 2013. Plan to be back in 2014 in a new venue.

Mint Hill Highland Games


The Mint Hill Highland Games in Mint Hill, North Carolina were originally slated to take place on May 3-4, 2013.

From their website

It is with great regret that the Board of Directors of the Mint Hill Scottish Society, Inc. has voted to cancel the 2013 Mint Hill Highland Games.

Even with 95% of our funding in place for 2013, career changes by key leadership and a shortage of manpower has brought about this difficult decision.

The Mint Hill Scottish Society, Inc. thanks all sponsors, supporters, participants and guests and apologizes for any inconvenience this decision may cause.

Decisions about the 2014 Mint Hill Highland Games and the future of the Mint Hill Scottish Society, Inc. will be made at a later date.

Zoukfest


Zoukfest was slated to take place on June 5-9, 2013 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. It has been postponed until 2014.

Jackson Hole Scottish Festival


After 12 years, the Jackson Hole Scottish Festival held its last event on August 17-18, 2012. The festival held each year in Jackson, Wyoming, sites economic and lack of volunteers as the major reason for their decision.

Montreal Highland Games


The Montreal Highland Games has found a new venue but it won't be ready for this year's games. The move to Angrignon Park in the South-West Borough of Montreal will mean that the next games in Montreal will take place on August 2-3, 2014.

The Big Bend Highland Games & Scottish Festival in Marianna, Florida has been cancelled for 2013. The festival was scheduled to take place on October 26 and 27, 2013. Announcements for 2014 will be made when decision finalized.
