Word comes to us from Heather Dale and we have to pass this on to all of our CelticRadio.net Friends.

Hello everyone -- what a tremendously busy year it's been on my end!
As many of you are aware, I'm a fully independent musician: I rely on the direct financial support of my fans in order to continue making my recordings. So I'd like to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude to each and every one of you.

You'll be happy to hear that I've started recording my next album "The Road to Santiago"... with your support, I hope to have it completed by early Spring. Please consider purchasing some of my other CDs for yourself or a friend this holiday season. We have some beautiful new editions of "May Queen" (available now), "Call The Names" (available Nov25) and "This Endris Night" (available Nov30) with updated CD artwork; I also have a new line of silver and pewter "HD" jewellery available for sale at HeatherDale.com. Many thanks in advance for choosing to join me on The Road -- your support will help make this new album a reality.

Also, some of you know that I manage my own record label Amphisbaena Music. But very few of you know that we have only 2 full-time staff members (including me); we're able to accomplish a lot by working long hours. smile.gif So I'd like to apologize if we haven't been able to respond to your emails in a timely fashion. I definitely read all the fan mail personally, but with such a wonderfully hectic year in 2004, I've been getting further and further behind in my responses. Please accept this newsletter as my personal thanks for all your words of support this year -- my fans really do make my life an absolute joy. I feel very blessed indeed!

Last but not least, I am excited to announce my first Canadian tour this November. I will be driving(!) across Western Canada with multi-instrumentalist Ben Deschamps, playing shows from Montreal right through to Vancouver. Again, as a fully independent musician, it's been a bit tough getting this tour together: venues are understandably cautious about booking indie musicians from outside their local area.

**IF YOU KNOW ANYONE ALONG MY TOUR ROUTE, please encourage them to attend my concerts... Ben and I have put together some great new versions of my original Modern Celtic songs, and we would love to play to packed houses all across the country if we can.

I'm really grateful for the many, many fabulous fans who've chosen to help me with my career. As long as I can keep paying my grocery bills, I will keep making new music for you all -- that's a promise. smile.gif

Wishing you happy and safe holidays!
Cheers,
Heather.

/me calls OldRaven

Hey, I'd recommend you find her somewhere on that tour.
Same for anyone who is in the area. I've seen her perform twice now and it has been quitre a treat both times. She played some pieces from her new CD at OVFF, and it is definately going to be a great CD. Already on my to-buy list. I need to check if I can find a pre-order list. I have a feeling it'll probably be a little more upbeat than her previous work. Definately looking forward to it biggrin.gif
