The administration has determined that there will be no cost of living increase for SS recipients in 2011. They feel that there is no inflation. Unfortunately for them most SS recipients do now buy new auto's each year or houses. Rising food and energy prices along with medical costs have stripped their disposable (?) income.
The price of protein has doubled in grocery stores along with many other staples. Medical and prescription costs have increased 20 to 30% in just a year.
Those are things that SS and SS disability recipients are the most affected by.
This is just one more thing that will work against the D's in 17 days!
