The convenience store where I buy my weekly lotto ticket sold a 200K winner. I would guess they did not sell it to me though!!! That is probably as close as I will get.

Oh well, such is life.

I usually offer my observation that it is my lot in life to put money in the lottery so others can win. That comment elicited a response from a lady who was buying a "lot" of tickets. She advised me that I had to spend "big" money if I was going to win.

If that is true, I will not be winning!

I talked to the winner today. He got 135K post tax and bought a new GMC 4WD pickup. His wife got a new Chrysler Concorde. They invested the rest. Itg is good that they won it now as taxes on it will increase in January.
