It was just announced on Fox News that Pelosi is calling for an investigation of the 9/11 site mosque opponents. She and the democrats are beginning to sound really desperate!
I do watch Fox News and I guess that I will be investigated by a Congressional Committe for expressing my rights under the 1st. Amendent. This President, this Congress is out of control.
The only problem here is believing ANYTHING they are told by Fox News. rofl
Fox news has more viewers now than all of the rest of the video media program providers combined. That is an absolute majority in the largest unofficial poll in America!
Mac E, thanks for posting the video of her actual press conference on the subject!
That - the mere mention of her name - just moved me to make another donation to John Dennis' campaign, who is running against the Pelosi witch-of-the-west to get her out of Oz.
I, too, am skeptical of FOX News. But no other network news is even worth being put on toilet paper. So I am thankful for FOX News nonetheless.

What most people don't (and in some cases can't) differentiate with FoxNews is that the basic news reporting is only slightly better, if at all, than the other networks (the majority of reporters at Fox all came from the same journalism schools as their counterparts at the other networks, and many, if not most, are just as leftist/progressive as the people at the other networks). It is in the opinion shows that Fox is to the right of the other networks, but even in those shows you have a better chance of hearing both sides than on any other network.
Pelosi was suggesting investigating who is financing the effort. Nothing wrong in that. An investigation is just that, not a limitation of any kind. She may have good cause, considering the backgrounds of some of those who back conservative movements.

In contrast, are they looking into who is financing the mosque? There may be good cause, considering the backgrounds of some of those who back liberal movements.
Most of us will see it as fair when both are investigated.
Until then, Dogshirt seems to have the right idea.
I agree. I'm all in favor of anyone in politics or group that involves itself in politics being investigated as to the sources of their financing, regardless of their political stance. That said, there's no reason to wait until group B is investigated before you investigate group A.
Whether or not anyone actually likes Pelosi, doesn't mean her idea to investigate the finances of any group is a bad one.
Actually Dogshirt, I wish that all politicians would have a link on their websites that lists all major contributors and all corporate contributors, just as an FYI for their constituents. I know....I know....dream on.
I wish that they could be given a total that they could NOT excede! Perhaps the amount that the LOWEST runner has to work with. If you're worth my vote, I'll know it WITHOUT you spending millions! There comes a point that the rest of your ads just PISS ME OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I read last week that the unions had pledged 80 M for the Nov. election. Industry has set aside a reputed 100 M. Add the private interest groups, the individuals and we may be around 8 or 9 hundred million for an off term election. That in the midst of a recession! There is something seriously flawed with that picture!
