Missed it, but I'm curious, Killian. Is your name at the bottom showing who's online in blue because you're an admin?

And I think congrats to LeeLee? biggrin.gif

Me too but it's because we are not "full" moderators, we only moderate one forum or two not the whole of CR like the "super mod" or "moderators" that are here from the start...which board do you moderate WallaceGal?

Hey Congrats again Leelee!!!!!! thumbs_up.gif

phantomgerry.net

There's one admin (she owns the board) then four moderators but we're global mods.

Do you moderate another board too, LOA, or just here?

Oh! I'm sorry I thought you were talking about moderating forums here on CR.

Sorry I misunderstood...I'm moderating the "Historical Archives" topics in the "Medieval Gateway" forum and "Family Matters" in the "Special Interests" forum.

Oh, nope. Haven't been here long enough for that. I'm just a really good test dummy who finds all the glitches in the new programs and such like the email...

Well in less then 5 days, Santa will begin his trip to visit all the good girls and boys of Celtic Radio. What Celtic item would you like Santa to bring you or your family this year.

A trip to Scotland would be nice biggrin.gif I'd like to visit my aunt. She lives in Dundee and I haven't seen her in years though we keep in touch regularly. She's the last of my family left...

But the Winter's Night CD would be nice too! biggrin.gif

“Nollaig Shona agus Athbhliain faoi Mhaise Duit.”

I would like, a new CD or two for my Celtic Music Collection, or a Shillelagh to replace the one that belonged to my grandfather (he was of German/English decent, still trying to figure the connection) that was lost in moving.

Most most of all, I would love to see our economy recovering and everyone back to work. That is something we can all pray and wish for.

WallaceGal:

Michigan has been hit very hard in so many areas, other manufacturing states have been hit hard as well. The Canadian auto industry which is tied with the US auto industry is getting hit also. Charities are coming up short this year, due to the poor economic picture. Many food banks are empty. More people are needing help and there is less available for them. We can only hope and pray things will change soon.

But, when you reflect on what is happening, maybe, it's time for all of us to get back to the true meaning of Hanukkah and Christmas. Peace and Goodwill toward our fellow man. Remember to drop what you can into the collection plate or the Red Kettles as you pass. A dime, a quarter, a dollar bill, adds up to help for someone who needs it, be it Hanukkah, Christmas or during the rest of the year.

Just the musings of an old man.

I want a night of rest, a warm, comfortable place to rest my head, and tickets to a celtic concert...but I'd skip the concert for a nap right now.
