Actually, the very last joust was a draw - 3 lances apiece. Unfortunately, after the third pass (of six), my stirrup broke and could not be fixed. Not exactly what I had planned for my final joust! 
I then dismounted and surprised two of my squires by knighting them on the field and presenting them with swords.
Then I was surprised as I was presented with a brand new sword, the Steward, from Albion Swords Steward as a gift for my 24 years of jousting.
It was a very moving day for me (extremely bittersweet) as I thought back over the years and the literally millions of people that I have jousted in front of. I remember all of the great times and am quickly forgetting the bad (as it should be).

 Come Joust For the Fun of It!
Hear ye, Hear ye, the legendary King Arthur and his Knights of the Roundtable are coming to Beaver Dam?s Dodge County Fairgrounds on October 1st and 2nd to attend the Second Annual CAMELOT MEDIEVAL HARVEST FAIRE.
Beginning at 10 am and running through 6 pm each day, visitors to the faire will be treated to music, dance, food, fun, an actual Highland Games competition, and a Real, Full Impact Jousting ?Tournament?, provided by the world renowned jousting troupe, The King?s Champions.
The joust will pit Wisconsin?s own 2000 World Jousting Champion, Lloyd Clark, jousting for the final time in his 24-year career, against Four Time Women?s World Champion, Cassandra Adams of the Netherlands. 
The faire will be fully family-friendly and will provide plenty of medieval merriment, living history, and fun for the whole family.
The Camelot Medieval Harvest Faire will be the third major fundraiser for the Historic Camelot Project. The Historic Camelot Project is a non-profit educational organization that is seeking to build a recreation of a ?medieval? village as a living history museum in Dodge County. The ?Village?, as project members call it, will allow many thousands of Wisconsin school children and adults, to experience the daily life of Britons from the early 5th Century to the 14th. The children, and adults as well, will learn about how our ancestors lived firsthand, in order to foster a greater appreciation and love of history. The Village will be the only one of its kind in the Midwest and will offer both education and entertainment to visitors.
Ticket prices are $8 for adults, $6 for seniors, $4 for children 5 ? 12, under 5 are free. There is a fee of $2 per car for parking.

As for jousting stories - I have lots, but I'll wait for a cold winter's day to start telling them 
Amy, my 3 year old daughter loves your fairies (I know you hear that a lot, but I just had to tell you!).

I personally will not be at all, but come by and say hi just the same.
I have a joust team in the European Jousting League, but we have not competed in any EJL events as yet.
I am the International Jousting Association Central USA Director and one of two IJA jousting instructors in North America.
I am also the Jousting/Equestrian Combat Arts Instructor for the Schola St. George School of Western Martial Arts and am currently working on the Equestrian Combat contained in both Fiore and Talhoffer's fight manuals.
I finished 3rd in the World at last years World Jousting Championships. Did not compete this year and am have decided to "hang up the spurs" at the end of this season (24 years of jousting is plenty).
I am President of the Historic Camelot Project, a Wisconsin Nonprofit Educational Organization that provides historical programs for school children and other youth groups.
In my spare time, I am the Senior Policy Analyst at the Wisconsin Medical Society and a PhD candidate in Medieval History.
Last, but certainly not least, I am husband to my beautiful wife, Lisa, and father to our beautiful daughter, Sarah.
