[I][FONT=Courier]

[SIZE=7]And a good day to all. I am Connie Wagar, the booking manager for
a local Greenville SC Celtic band called Lissakeole. I wonder how many know what that means?
Believe me it took me a bit to learn about it.
I am of Celtic descent and love my heritage. I have followed the family as much as
possible and know the Butler side was Irish and Scottish. Perhaps the toughness in the family is a result of the blending of the 2 Celtic and Viking lines blending to create folks who just never give up..smile.gif
I am a lover of the bagpipes, and pennywhistle and Celtic harp. The music of the Celts has so greatly influenced the early music of the Americas, and still does in the folk and Bluegrass sounds. Today as always I love to hear the stories of the Celtic people forever enshrined in the music and tales of the lands across the sea...

A romantic I am and always will be..

Connie Wagar

Welcome to CelticRadio. Celts are not just from the Isles but were the original folks of Europe before Rome and the church got hold on the land and people.
