Keltic, I am glad to hear all is well. smile.gif

I understand the time being with the Family.

We, ourselves had a Family gathering. My nephew is heading to Beijing, China on Sunday to teach English at one of their Universities. I think he wants to be a World Rover. Especially since he has been to France, someplace in Africa and Canada. We asked him if was offered a teaching position in Siberia, would he take it? His answer was "YES, IN A HEART BEAT". Well all I can do is wish him Best of Luck.

May you walk in balance with Creator,
Richard

Tonight, I have accomplished 1/3 of my my goal for this weekend: to kill a lime by cutting it into six pieces, then drowning each piece in a bottleful of Corona beer biggrin.gif .

Well, today I am going to an arts and crafts fest and tonight I am going snake wrassling! (thats a a 16 channel, 50 foot snake) Seems kinda pitiful doesn't it? I'm 51 years old, and STILL a roadie! Then I get to sell drinks and tickets and whatever else needs doing, AND I volunteered to do it all, AND I'm having a BALL!
Anybody want to come to Norfolk and hear Pirce Pettis in concert?

I sat out and watched three football games in the cold and rain within twenty hours.... HighSchool, ten year olds and eight year olds. Good thing I love football (that's the American version) Lost two, tied one.... sad.gif
Now, I'm planning on getting warm and staying that way.... Oh, I forgot two baseball make-up games tomorrow morning starting at nine.....
Do I know how to have fun or what? unsure.gif
It's interesting reading what adults do for fun. Been too long, I've forgotten.

Well so far this weekend I have not really accomplished anything I wanted to. sad.gif
I did see my niece play football( or soccer) today. She is 5 and a half. It was really a good time!

Now I am cooking, a whole chicken on the grill with peat. ( and listening to cartoon network) Then prob. watch a film, or rugby. That depends on what time rugby is on!!!!!

Tomorrow rehearsal in the morning, and hopefully bulb planting. If the weather holds out. I hope, I hope.... laugh.gif

Mike,
The sound check went OK, and the concert went OK, and nothing squealed, distorted, or fed back, so I guess we rassled that snake into submission. It was a pretty simple gig anyway, one vocal, one instumental and a DI. I can do setups, but somebody else has to do the board. They don't let me play with the knobs and sliders! sad.gif

Hello all...

I've been gone for a while -- several months at least -- but I'm back and I love the new look of the forum.

I'm on vacation! Weekend plans-- After taking part in a Living History encampment on Sunday, I'll be working in my shop on a new piece of furniture I've designed for my dining room.

The music sounds great. Keep up the good work.

Well was going to sit home but decided at the last minute to play in a tennis round robin yesterday (Sun) and ended up winning bad elbow and all. Got yet another teeshirt. Being a local my wife and I win so many of these things the coaches always joke that if you want one see us in the parkinglot as we have so many. LOL laugh.gif
