Not sure if anyone has every seen or heard Charlie Zahm. I know up in the Northeast he plays at the Highland game circuits and can be heard singing a beautiful rendition of the Star Spangle Banner to the cheers of all attendees.
He has a beautiful voice and is also one of the best Highland Game music performers we have seen. We have added his CD, Ye'll tak the High Road, to our broadcast.
Please request his song from our music database, Scotland the Brave, it definitely will bring shivers up and down your spine!
I really like Charlie Zahm music. What a wonderful voice!!!! How can I get his CD???

I am having trouble reaching his website, but it should be at www.charliezahm.com.
He really is a wonderful musician, beautiful voice and fantastic to see in concert. He usually plays by himself with a guitar or other Celtic type instruments and I have seen him play with a bagpiper/chanter.

Oh that is becoming a fav, thank you for adding his stuff .
Just one of my favorite singers in the world. His voice is a great insturment he plays well. I have seen him many times in a few settings. He sings a great variety of music and I have been plesantly surprised by them all. On top of it all he seems to be a nice fellow as well. This is a picture form his web site from his trip to Scotland a couple of years ago that I have included
I have been a Charlie Zham fan for a long time. I have seen him in different settings and he just keeps getting better. His voice is a wounderful instrument. He has two CD's of music he wrote! he also plays more than just a balrom( I know it is spelled wrong) and gitar. He also plays Penny whistle, banjo, 12 an 5 not sure about anything else. He sings Celtic, america revilonary adn civil war music as well. He is multi talented and a nice man too. To listen toi his music you ar transported to what ever and who ever he is singing about. His fiddle player Tad marks is also Great as is the purcusinist Mark Sullivan who accompany Charlie at the larger venues he is at. My favorite of his CD's is "A walk in the Irish Rain" My favorite song is "Lighthouse on the Shore"(written by Charlie) He is realll unbeatable!
Went to hear Charlie last weekend ans as always he ws fantastic. turned the night into a St Patricks day party! I am way beyond a fan I an a groupie at this stage. I love the very traditional music he does.
Charlie is great in concert. I can tell you that I don't know of any other musician that sounds so good with just his voice and guitar. Powerful, inspiring and moving are a few words to describe his concerts. And by concerts I don't mean at the Highland Games at the main fareway, but a place you can sit down and really absorb his music. He has such a wide range of music to choose from.
I talked with Charlie yesterday at the Celtic Fling and he was telling me he had been on CR on Friday and had read this thread. He commented that everyone had said they loved him except one. That would be you, Snoogans . He didn't take offense to it. He laughed about it.
Hopefully, we should be hearing from him, here on CR Forum.
Got to see 1 1/2 shows of his yesterday (I had to leave for the 2 1/2 hour drive back home). He has such a terrific voice and has some excellent people with him, plus all have a great sense of humor. No doubt he has a very large fan base and is plenty willing to talk with all of them and remembers all of their names.
Don't pass up a chance to see him live. His shows are rather infectious and you can't keep your toes from tapping.
Charlie is THE BEST! He has the most beautiful voice in the world and is SO nice. I'll never forget when he sang "I Hae Seen the Hielands" just for me at the Potomac Celtic Festival. I can't wait to see him again! I wish he lived closer so I could attend more performances!!! I'll go to every one I possibly can, though.
Keep up the good work, Charlie, and thanks for all the wonderful music!!! You're the greatest!
